Eileen Has a Family!

I just discovered this morning that Eileen has been matched with a family!  We are grateful for all the prayers that have gone up on her behalf, and that she will no longer be facing institutionalization!  Instead she will be living in Indiana, with a family that is very excited about her.

This family is not someone we contacted, they found her independently through the Reece's Rainbow website.  Because they are not members of the church of Christ, we will not be able to do fund raising on her behalf through Sacred Selections like we had planned.

However, if you have been moved by little Eileen, you can still go directly to the Reece's Rainbow website and make a donation to help with her adoption expenses.

You can also still make a contribution to Sacred Selections, that will help a Christian family bring some other child home.

Thank you so  much to everyone who has joined us in praying for and advocating for Eileen!

Could She Be Your New Daughter?

We are seeking members of a non-institutional church of Christ to be Eileen's forever family.  She was born in eastern Europe in February, 2010.  She is only one year old, but can sit independently, walk holding to something, and will play with toys for long periods of time.  She is a really sweet little girl.

We found out about Eileen through a great charity called Reece's Rainbow, that helps orphans with special needs find homes.

Unfortunately, because Eileen has a cleft palate and a delay of statokinetic development, she is facing institutionalization if she is not adopted.  So we are going to raise the funds to pay for her adoption!  All we need is a loving family who wants to take Eileen home!  Could Eileen be your daughter?
