We are seeking your prayers on behalf of Eileen. The country that Eileen is from, has currently put a hold on all new adoptions while they are changing office locations. Also, there has been a change in their adoption laws that would prevent Eileen from being adopted until she is 5 years old. There may possibly be some updates to the law in the next few months that would again make Eileen eligible to adopt, but for the moment she is trapped. Five years old is the age that Eileen would be transferred to the mental institution, and at that age it would also be much harder to find an adoptive family.
I will update this blog as soon as Eileen is eligible to be adopted again, so keep checking back here. And for now, please pray that the law will soon change so Eileen can be rescued! Thank you all for your prayers!
